In the context of its preparation of the Country Strategy for the 2015-2019 period, the African Development Bank commissioned CGA President Giulio de Tommaso to carry out a fragility assessment to look into causes and features of fragility and sources of resilience. This analysis entailed a thorough multi-sectoral review of the different dimensions of fragility and extensive consultation with counterparts in the Government, Civil Society and the international donor community.
